future aspirations

Today team 5 got the privilege to hear from the Future Aspirations that used to come to Pt England School.The first speaker was Tyrone Tangata Makiri he was our keynote for today. Today he came with 6 other people and their names were Haare Kutia, Tanielu Tele’a,Shaniah McCarry,Tia Peleti and the last one was David Clarke.Today they were all talking about what they want to do in their life and how they got to be in there future. It really inspired me to figure out what I wanted to do in my future life. 

why we have rainy day monitors

Statement: Why have rainy day monitors.

Explanation: If there is a rainy day the teachers will go on their break. So that means the teachers will get older kids from team 5 to come over to their class and look after their kids.While the teachers are on their break the older kids will have to be role models.

Example: Luka and Lesieli will have to go to room 13 in team 1 to look after the little kids while Mrs Shirley goes for her break. Luka and Lesieli could play with the kids or either watch a movie together.

Explanation: The earth’s spin axis is tilted with respect to its orbital plane.As the earth spins on its axis, producing night and day, it also moves about the sun in an elliptical.orbit that requires about 365 1/4 days to complete.

Example: Earth’s rotation axis is always pointed towards the celestial poles.As earth moves around the sun sometimes one hemisphere is tilted towards the sun and sometimes away. The seasons shown are for the northern hemisphere.
